Our mission is based on James 1:27, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless to look after widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world". Our goal is to help the most vulnerable of people in Tanzania: at-risk children and widows over 50. It is harder for these people to help themselves. We want them to know the love of Jesus and His provision.
Our initial vision is to safely house 50 orphans and 5 widows. We plan on growing to 100 orphans and 10 widows as funds are provided. We will house and feed the children, while the widows will function in their calling whether it is childcare, cooking, and/or even farming. Each widow will personally be responsible for 10 children. This will provide motherly care for the children and help to give a purpose for the lives of the widows.
Our objective is to raise leaders in Tanzania for tomorrow. Orphans are often left out or forgotten, but our home will give them training and a purpose for living. We seek to raise a generation of leaders in the home, in the workplace, in the churches, and in the community. We want them to follow Jesus’ example in Luke 2:52, “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and favor with God and man”.
